This is a 12x14 mill engine. This engine was made by Liddell and Co. of Charlotte NC. . The is one of two engines sitting in Roseboro, North Carolina as advertisement for DuBose steel.
12x14 LC BV. I believe the BV is for Balance Valve, the LC may be the clue to find the maker.
Built by A.L. Ide and Son this IDEAL engine also sits at DeBose Steel in Roseboro, North Carolina. This is a good size engine with a 4" Gardner Governor.
