Unknown maker

This is a 9 inch bore 12 inch stroke mill engine of unknown maker. The clues we have are the C.C.C. cast on the valve cover and the sale tag listing the seller as  The Fort Wayne Oil & Supply Co.  

This engine is fitted with a portable oil field style skid.

Although this is a balance valve engine, someone has drilled and tapped bolts that ad pressure to the valve. On a Balanced valve engine the springs inside normally apply the needed pressure.

This engine uses a Lenox Leader 2-1/2" horizontal governor.
